Immuno
In a collaboration between Strasbourg and the Wistar Institute we generated a rabies vaccine of which Tad Wiktor, the leading researcher in the field, said ‘this is the best vaccine I have ever seen’.
It eradicated rabies in France and other countries. Further work sought to apply the same concept to cancer. Recent work has dwelt on the increasingly recognized role of innate immunity.
